Have you ever wanted to get up close and personal with a retired racing Greyhound?
Well, here is your chance!
Representatives from Greyhound Pet Adoption Northwest will be at the Petco in the Timberhill Shopping Center Saturday, April 5th, from 11 AM-1 PM, along with some wonderful retired racers for you to meet. Volunteers will be on hand to answer your questions about Greyhounds and Greyhound adoption.
GPA Northwest has been placing retired racing Greyhounds in responsible, loving homes for over 20 years. There is an application process, a home visit and an adoption fee.
Come join in the fun and frivolity! See you there!
Shelbyville, Ind., resident Erin Cramer has her family's newly adopted greyhound, named Clobberhead, to thank for saving her from a potentially explosive situation.
Please join Lula, Keith, Jake, Elliott and Ford (and their people) at Bald
Hill Park in Corvallis for an unscheduled Greyhound walk this Sunday at 1:30.
“Ford” is being fostered by Rachel and Eddy Ostrander and is going to be visited
by his new “forever” family on Sunday and, since Rachel and Eddy live so close
to Bald Hill Park, we thought we’d have a “get acquainted” walk for Ford and his
new family and welcome them all to the WVGL!
We’ll meet at the Benton County Fairgounds parking lot at 1:30. If you
have time to join us, please do!
Come on out and join us for our St. Patrick’s Day Greyhound walk. On March 16th, at 1:30pm. We will be parking at the Valley River Baptist Church (1145 Willagillespie Rd) and walking across the Delta Foot Bridge, then walk to the Delta Ponds area. There are many different birds, ducks and beavers, even turtles that live there. Everyone is encouraged to be "Wearin’ O’ the Green".

Okay, we don’t have $50,000 to award anyone with an actual clone of their dog, so we’re giving away the next best thing – a soft and adorable one-of-a-kind plush replica of your pet – a Cuddle Clone!
