GPA-Northwest Adoption Events - Saturday, October 6th- Corvallis AND Eugene!

Once again, here's your chance to get up close and personal with a retired racing Greyhound!Representatives from Greyhound Pet Adoption will be at the Corvallis Petco in the Timberhill Shopping Center in Corvallis and at the Petco in Eugene located at 1169 Valley River Dr on Saturday, October 6th from 11AM to 1PM at both locations.

We'll have some "display models" for you to interact with, and perhaps an adoptable Greyhound or two.

Come join in the fun and frivolity!

This is a note to remind you and invite you to join us on Sunday, September 23rd for our Greyhound Walk. We will be enjoying the changing colors of the leaves at the Dorris Ranch in Springfield. Calling All Greyhounds! Walterville, Oregon Parade - Saturday, September 8th

The Walterville parade is a fun little parade about a mile and a half long. It begins at the Walterville Fire Station next to Herrick's Farm Stand and ends at the Walterville Store. We meet between 10:00 and 11:00 to register, with the parade starting at 11:00. There are a lot of old tractors, horses, kids on bikes, and what have you. I take my golf cart, scooter, and our two Greyhounds, Gigi and Tiva. The parade goes slow enough to walk and show off our beautiful Greyhounds. We'd love to have more greyhounds in the parade.


We end near the Walterville Community Center (Grange Hall) where they have exhibits, booths, activities, and a chicken BBQ going on during the day.
