June Greyhound Walk
The Great British Greyhound Walk is an annual-dog walking event that brings together greyhounds, lurchers, other sighthounds and their owners, to raise awareness and shoe members of the public just what wonderful pets greyhounds make. To show our love and support for our furry friends to the east, let’s join together with the Great Brittan Greyhound lovers for an "international" June greyhound walk. We will meet Sunday, June 23rd at 1:30 pm at Elijah Bristow Park near Dexter. We will be exploring the beautiful outdoors, along with letting the dogs have some romping and roaming time; for this park DOES have a fenced, off leash Dog Park, so please bring your dog’s muzzles.. (park rule) Visit their websites for more information about the Great British Greyhound Walk (http://greatbritishgreyhoundwalk.org.uk/) and Elijah Bristow Park (http://www.oregonstateparks.org/) and get ready for some Dog-gone fun.
