Please join us on Sunday, December 14, 2014, for the first ever Jingle Bell Greyhound Walk, a gathering to remember the Greyhounds who have passed from WVGL families this past year. We will be ringing a bell for 19 Greyhounds. Fashioned after a similar walk that takes place annually in Boston, the walk will be a chance to gather with our friends during the holiday season and to pay tribute to our beloved pets. Donations will be welcomed but not required to attend. All proceeds will benefit Greyhound Pet Adoption Northwest. Holiday attire is encouraged, and prizes will be awarded! We will meet at the 5th Street Public Market, 295 E. 5th Avenue, in Eugene at 1:30 PM. (Please park in the parking lot across the street.) We will walk down to the fountain on 8th street and back and then meet at the fountain in the Market. There we will ring the bell 19 times.
