Announcing: The Great Global Greyhound Walk

When: Sunday, June 10th @ 1:30 Where: 24th & Amazon Parkway in Eugene   The Great Global Greyhound Walk is a world-wide, annual dog-walking event, bringing together greyhounds, lurchers, and other sighthounds, to raise awareness of the breeds and show the public what incredible family companions they can be. Willamette Valley Greyhound Lovers will be hosting a GGG Walk in Eugene. Walks will be taking place all over the world. Last year, over 4500 greyhounds walked on one memorable day to celebrate sighthounds and promote awareness. The Eugene walk will take place at Amazon Park in South Eugene. We will meet in the parking lot on the northeast corner of 24th St. and Amazon Parkway. Bring a pop of primary color for your Greyhound to wear: a bandana or lei or something similar in bright red, blue, or yellow. We will have some extra bandanas to share.
