Coffee With Your Greyhound in the Winter? Absolutely!

Do you miss those summer days when you're able to sit outside at your favorite coffee shop with your pooch?  Yeah, me too!  If you live in or will be visiting Corvallis during the winter months, be sure to take time to visit Susan's Garden & Coffee Shop!  Not only is the coffee superior, you can bring your pooch INSIDE the garden center and greenhouse!  You'll find a dog-friendly staff and a comfortable environment where you can spend time out of the rain & cold.  There's plenty of seating in either the garden center or the greenhouse.

And, if you're nice to the barista, there's a good chance that your pooch will be offered a "puppuccino," which, Keith will tell you, is pretty delicious.

February Greyhound Walk Re-Scheduled

Greyhound Walk is Rescheduled   Due to forecasts for inclement weather (snow) and possibly difficult driving conditions through this weekend, the greyhound walk is postponed until Sunday, February 17th. Time and place are not changed (see below). See you on the 17th! Kym

When: February 17th, Sunday, @ 1:30 PM Where: Thurston Hills Natural Area          7575 McKenzie Highway          Springfield, OR Let's enjoy some beautiful views in east Springfield. The parking lot is off 75th & Main St (aka McKenzie Highway) in east Springfield. The trail itself is gravel (no mud) with a gradual rise and plenty of switchbacks. We'll plan to walk a mile or so in and then turn back to the start. There are restrooms and trash cans. If you have any questions about the walk location, contact Monica: podarke@comcast.net
