Let’s enjoy spring by looking for eggs and a stray bunny or two along the way on our walk around Walterville Pond at 1:30 on Sunday April 17th. Drive east on Hwy 126 from Springfield; at mile 13 there is a church on the right side of the road and the canal’s coming along on the left. Cross the canal and take a left. You’ll drive in the opposite direction from the way you came to a small parking lot at the pond. It only takes about a half hour to walk around the pond but we could also walk along the canal.
